1. And it looks like the question marks are only at the end of sentences, added after the period character. The interesting thing is Outlook isn't necessariily involved since Mail.app just sends it to the Exchange server and I will see the question marks in Mail.app if I cc: myself.
2. Sep 03, 2011  I did as you said. One question mark is for Firefox. The application is in the dock, but the question mark is still greyed out. I can move it to the desk top and all I get is a small box with options.

May 15, 2011  They were simple apps that gave me side by side views etc. The problem is that I dragged them from my downloads folder and not from my apps folder. So now that I have deleted the apps from the downloads folder, thinking I had also saved them in my apps folder, there are question marks where the app logo used to be.
